eXtremeRate has been very kind in donating a number of customization kits to us over the past year. This latest kit is for the Game Boy Pocket as mine is missing a few parts and is in a pretty "meh" shape overall. As with previous kits, eXtremeRate includes all of the tools you need to get the job done. As for the Game Boy Pocket kit, you can see my whole installation in the above video and the end results from this kit are a bit hit-and-miss. The feel and color are absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, this is offset by the kit not lining up correctly after being installed resulting in the shell not closing quite right. with some additional trimming to the inside of the shell, this should be correctable. This does make the Game Boy Pocket kit a little less exciting than anything else from the company I have covered to date. It does still get the job done, I just wish it was as good as the Game Boy Color and Advance shells I have previously installed.
